B-Sharp Property Maintenance<\/a> offers Screened Topsoil also known as Garden soil.<\/p>\n

Our screened topsoil promotes the growth of all your plants and vegetation. It contains compost, peat moss, topsoil, and a touch of sand. It is rich in organic materials. This will boost growth in any garden or flower bed. We add these ingredients because topsoil alone does not have the nutrients to promote growth. Garden soil is the uppermost layer of soil, it is usually 5 inches to 10 inches deep. It contains the highest concentration of organic matter and organisms.<\/p>\n

Garden soil<\/a> can be used to create a base for turf laying, just cover your ground, or to start new beds. Every yard needs garden soil because it is the first line of defense for growing grass and plants<\/p>\n

We screen and process our topsoil with a double screen system. First, the soil passes through a screen that is 1 3\/4 inches. Next, the soil passes through the second screen, which is 1\/4 inches. This makes sure to take out the oversized pieces leaving a fine fluffy light areated soil.<\/p>\n

There is some misunderstanding that the darker the garden soil the better, but this simply is not true. You should be able to feel some grit when you rub it around in your hand. That is because of the minerals and these are important to plant growth.<\/p>\n
